About Sarga Ramanthali

Our mission

Sarga aims to provide charity service around its functional area — supporting village welfare, promoting youth artistic talent, encouraging sports among young people, and advancing culture in Ramanthali.

Our story

Sarga Ramanthali was inaugurated in 2018 by a group of local youth who wanted to give back to their village. What began with toy distribution and flood relief during the 2018 Kerala floods has grown into a standing volunteer collective with thirteen executive members, two guardians, and dedicated Programme, Social Media, and Diaspora Coordination committees.

Timeline of our work

1. 2021

   Road cleaning drives, Vishu Kaineettam for underprivileged families, fish harvesting programme.

2. 2020

   Hand-in-Hand relief programme, washbasin donated to the PHC, Sunday biryani distribution, medical treatment funds, refrigerator for the FLTC, Onam kits, educational quizzes.

3. 2019

   Organic vegetable promotion, water supply projects, water purifier for the preschool, student recognition, monsoon cleaning, jersey distribution, road maintenance.

4. 2018

   Club inaugurated. Toy distribution, flood relief during the Kerala floods, medical assistance, clothing drives, agricultural initiatives.
